Pork Liver in Chili and Sesame Oil

Quick and easy stir-fry to serve up in no time delicious pork liver in sesame oil and chili flakes.

Organs are such a nutrient dense food! At first I was all against eating animal organs, but after doing some readings and research I’ve found out that they have so many health benefits and all sort of positive sides.
Organ meats are full of nutrients, and are often pound-for-pound more nutritious than muscle meats, most organ meats are also good sources of numerous vitamins and minerals, including many of the B-Vitamins, iron, and zinc.

Of course when eating organs we need to make sure to select organic and high quality meat, better if you can track the origin of the animal.

Liver is absolutely my favorite one!

The recipe I am sharing with you today is an easy and quick way to serve up pork liver.

Ingredients (serves 2):

  • 250 g organic pork liver
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/4 tsp chili flakes
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • salt

Start off by slicing the pork liver

Next in a skillet heat up the sesame oil and garlic, cook on low until garlic is golden in color. Add the sliced liver, season with salt and chili flakes and sauté on medium-high until meat is cooked.

Serve with a sprinkle of sesame seeds and fresh chopped parsley.
