Low-Carb High-Protein Pizza

The Pizza recipe you all have been dreaming for: low-carb and high-protein, oh and did I mention it is also gluten-free?

Too good to be true you might be thinking, well…rethink. After testing, and testing and testing I have FINALLY been able to nail a pizza crust with LESS THAN 16g of carb and MORE THAN 35g of protein.

It is completely gluten-free, and very easy to make. Follow up this recipe and if you like it, share it with the world πŸ™‚

The crust provides: 253 Kcal, 15,4 g C, 35,2 g P, 5,5 g F

Ingredients (makes 1 pizza):

  • 22 g of adam’s brot back protein or whey flour
  • 20 g soy flour
  • 15 g rice flour
  • a pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp dry oregano
  • 3 g xanthan gum
  • 3 g dry active yeast
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp coconut vinegar or apple cider vinegar
  • 65 g water

In a bowl combine all dry ingredients

add the yeast, oil and give it a stir. Slowly pour in water and sprinkle with salt. Mix until you form a soft and smooth dough.

Roll it out into a circle and let it rest for 30 min.

Pre-heat oven to 200 C and bake for 15 min.

Remove from the oven, dress it with tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese and bake for 5 more minutes.

Drizzle the top with some EVO and serve it up.
