Picture yourself seated outdoor with a cold glass of white wine or beer, a few dips, a board of cheeses and some crispy flatbread crackers. Doesn’t that sound appealing?
In today’s live streaming cooking class on facebook I have shared my recipe to make yummy and simple flatbread crackers, which would be just perfect for our quarantine solo/video-outdoor aperitifs!

Easy to make, they are ready in 30 min max! I served them with some hummus, you can find my recipe here!
Ingredients:
- 115 g bread flour (type 0)
- 60 g semola
- 50 g flaxseeds (or other seeds on hand)
- 100 ml water
- 1-1/2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil + more to brush on the crackers
- 1/2 tsp honey
- 7 g salt
In a bowl add flours, salt and flaxseeds. Add in oil, honey and slowly pour in the water mixing all the ingredients together first with a spoon and then with your hand. You should get a soft and smooth dough which is not sticking on your fingers.

On a floured surface roll out the though 3 mm thick, cut off your crackers the shape and size you prefer. Lightly brush them with some EVO and bake them in pre-heated oven at 200C for 12-15 min. Remove and let them cool down completely.
