3 Ingredient Quarantine Cake

3 ingredients is all you need to make this super simple and yummy cake!

Ran out of eggs, flour, chocolate, butter, oil and cacao but still want cake? I’ve got you covered with this easy 3-ingredient cake.

I’ve called this the quarantine cake!


Because in this tough time we are all experiencing when we are requested to stay home and leave just as rarely as possible, when grocery shopping has become ad adventure with hours-long queuing outside of supermarkets and empty shelves inside, well this cake is really going to be a life saver!

All you need are 3 ingredients! Yes, that is it, and you will get a super soft and fragrant cake!

Ingredients (8″ cake pan):

  • 350 g cookies (chocolate or vanilla, all would work)
  • 370 g milk or water
  • 1 tsp baking powder

In a food processor pulse the cookies into powder

Transfer mixture into a bow and add milk and baking powder. Whisk all the ingredients together

then transferred into an 8 inch cake pan, lined with parchment paper.

Bake in pre-heated oven at 180C for about 40 min or until a tooth stick inserted in the centre will come out dry.

Dust the top with some powdered sugar if you fancy.

Slice it up and enjoy!
