Beets and Yogurt Smoothie Bowl | Vegan

Refreshing, light and nutritious smoothie bowl fully vegan.


New week, new start and as per tradition here is a healthy recipe for you to make and enjoy.

Easy and fully vegan, this smoothie bowl just calls for very simple ingredients. Blend them all together, top it off with fresh fruit and coconut chips for extra crunch and serve it up for breakfast, meal replacement or a snack!

Ingredients (makes 1 bowl):

  • 1 medium boiled beet
  • 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 150 g soy greek yogurt (or nut-based yogurt)
  • 1/2 frozen and sliced banana
  • 1 tsp maple syrup (optional)

Place all the ingredients in a blender

and process until smooth. Pour the mixture in a serving bowl

top it off with fresh fruit (I went for mulberries) and coconut chips, for extra crunch!

This smoothie bowl is thick and not overly sweet (so if you prefer it sweeter just add a bit of maple syrup. I didn’t in mine)
