Creamy and sweet smoothie bowl packed with protein. Perfect post workout snack!
It’s getting hot here in south Italy, with lots of beautiful sunny days! I’ve been loving my morning run along the beach with a little bit of sea breeze and the sunshine to keep me warm.
Just last Sunday, back from my morning workout I was sweaty and hot and was craving something to cool me down. While in winter I prefer a warm protein shake, on hot days one of my way to go snacks are smoothie bowls.
This strawberry & figs smoothie bowl is such a great post workout pick me up. Made with strawberries, figs, blueberries coconut and protein powder, will refuel your muscles and recharge your energy level!
Ingredients:
- 1 cup fresh strawberries
- 1/2 cup greek yogurt
- 1/2 banana
- 1 scoop vegan protein powder
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 whole fig
for toppings:
- 1/2 fig, sliced
- 1/4 cup fresh blueberries
- 1/8 cup coconut chips
Collect all your ingredients

place them into a blender

and process until creamy

Transfer to a bowl and top it off with fresh blueberries, figs and coconut chips!
