Avocado Protein Balls

A vegetarian and gluten free, creamy, protein dough ball made with avocados and chocolate! Can it get any better?

I love avocados! They are one of those food never missing in my fridge. I weekly buy at least 4 to 5 fruits at my beloved “avocado lady” and use them daily in my meals. They are such a versatile ingredient: can replace butter in baking, add extra creaminess to any smoothie, make an amazing addition to salads and even soups! Not to mention the amazing dips you can make with them.

On top of that avos are high in Lysine, essential amino acid, healthy fats, and antioxidants.

Try make these SUPER easy protein balls, they make really a nice grab-to-go snack or breakfast.


  • 2 scoops Tropeaka vanilla pump protein powder (you can replace with any vegan chocolate protein powder)
  • 2 heaping tbsp creamy natural peanut butter
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 avocado, smashed
  • 1/2 cup gluten-free rolled oats
  • 2 tsp Tropeaka cleanse powder (you can replace with 1/2 tsp match powder)
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chunks

In a bowl combine all the ingredients

I used honey but you can replace that with maple syrup or agave and make this recipe 100% vegan

Stir all ingredients together and using an ice cream scoop portion out balls of mixture onto parchament paper. Bake at 180 C for 10 min. Remove from the oven and let them cool down on a wire rack before storing them.

I feel they store best in the fridge for one week or more.
