Second batch of Christmas baking done!
Brownies shaped like a Christmas tree are an awesome idea for holiday treats!
And in less than 4 sleeps I will be in ITALYYYYYYYYYYYYY. Can’t wait!
- 1/2 cup of unsalted butter
- 100 gr dark chocolate
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
- 2/3 cup flour
- 1/4 cup white icing
In a saucepan melt the chocolate and butter, whisk until combined
Remove from the heat and let it cool down for 5 min, then add the sugar and vanilla. Stir gently
Add the egg
then gently stir in flour until incorporated.
Greased a 9*8 baking pan and pour in the batter
Bake in pre-heated oven at 180 C for about 30 min. You want the center to remain wet and moisture so play high attention to the baking time. You don’t want to burn the edges and have a hard brownie…
When completely cool, using a tree cookie cutter, cut off your brownies
Decorate them with white icing and colorful sprinkles. Let the icing dry before storing or serving your brownies.
