Oven Roasted Cauliflower

I have always wanted to make roasted cauliflower, but for some unknown reasons I have never. I do order it quite often in restaurants tho, it’s a very healthy option to chips and bread.

Making it at home is super easy and very quick as well! Since I had a big head that I received with me veggie & fruit box, I decided to give it a try!

Here is my recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 6 cups of cauliflower
  • 1/3 cup of extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 clove of garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Italian herb mix
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp paprika (hot or mild)

Wash and cut off the florets of the cauliflower

In a small bowl combine oil, herbs, salt, paprika, lemon juice and minced garlic

Pour the dressing on the cauliflower florets and stir so they are all completely coated

Pre heat oven at 200 C. Lay the cauliflower on a baking tray

and roast it for 20 min stirring it around a couple of times

Serve warm or at room temperature

This is a great side dish or can be also used instead of chips with several type of dips!
