If there is something I love of fall is pumpkin.
Pumpkins are so healthy and so delicious and I love to incorporate them in many recipes: soups. cookies, muffins, cakes, and why not, even bread!
Here is a recipe for making pumpkin bread I tried last week. My bf and I whipped off the whole loaf in less than 2 days.
If you love pumpkin, like me, here are some other tasty recipes.

Ingredients (make one loaf):
- 1-1/2 cup pumpkin pure’
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 whole eggs
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1 cup pumpkin seeds
- 3 cup flour
In a bowl of your electric mixer combine softened butter, sugar, eggs and pumpkin pure. Mix the ingredients together until creamy. then add the flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking powder and salt. Add more flour if needed. You need to get a mixture that holds itself on a spoon….
does that makes sense?
Next up grab some pumpkin seeds
and add them to the mixture. Stir to combine.
Pour mixture into a bread loaf pan and bake in pre-heated oven at 180 C for about 50 min.
When cooked, let it cool down completely before siding up.
Serve it for breakfast with a spread of butter and jam.
