I’ve recently discovered a new seafood store, this made me a happier parson! The store is called Andes Premium Catch and it’s located in Minhang District, here in Shanghai.
What I love about their products is that their seafood is all-natural, additive free and imported from around the world. They have a lot of different species such as Atlantic Cod, Halibut, King and Coho salmon, as well as fresh/live products like shellfish and salmon.
They deliver right to your doorstep, which makes shopping super convenient.

Now let’s cook 🙂
Ingredients (serves 2):
- 250 g black cod
- 1 clove garlic
- 200 g cherry tomatoes
- 10 g pine nuts
- 15 g raisins
- 50 ml white wine
- 1 tbsp. chopped parsley
- salt and pepper
- 2 tbsp. olive oil
Grab your black cod. If it’s frozen let it defrost completely
Soak the raisins in the white wine for about 30 min – this will give the wine that extra flavor and fruity aroma
Meanwhile, wash and cut the tomatoes in half
grab some pine nuts and clean the garlic glove
Wash the fish
Sauté’ the garlic into an cast iron skillet (or just a standard non-stick one), add the cod and cook it on medium heat for a couple of minutes on both sides. Season with salt and pepper
Pour in the wine with the raisin and let the alcohol evaporate
Next up, add the tomatoes pine nuts, adjust with salt, then cover with a lid and let it cook on low for about 20 min. Don’t flip the fish over, just gently move it around the skillet to avoid breaking it
When ready, sprinkle some fresh chopped parsley and serve!
