I went to my friend Fei the other day and she offered me an homemade frozen yogurt popsicle. She basically took yogurt, poured it in Popsicle molds and froze it. It was good and gave me a great idea for a light, summer dessert!
So I went home took the blueberries i had in the fridge and put them in the freezer, then the following morning I let them defrost on the counter a few hours and made this amazing Popsicles. Here is the step by step recipe!
Ingredients (makes 4):
- 100 g fat free Greek yogurt
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1/2 cup blueberries
Take your blueberries and let them defrost completely (I used frozen blueberries cause once they defrost are softer) then add 1 tbsp of honey
and with a fork mash few of them while you mix them with the honey
in a separate bowl combine yogurt with the other tbsp of honey, stir well
In your Popsicle molds pour one tbsp of blueberries, followed by one of yogurt then blueberries again and finish up with one last tbsp of yogurt
Close them and put them in the freezer for at least 3-4 hours.
When craving something sweet but healthy, take your Popsicles out of the freezer and enjoy!
Yummy and with only 70 kcal each!
