I’m working on my first cooking book! Yes, you heard me!
It’s not like I know what I’m talking about but I am having SO MUCH fun writing it and trying to shoot decent- not flurry – not out of focus pictures that no matter if no one will buy it, I’ll still be happy and proud I actually got myself to write it!
The book is going to be bilingual (English and Chinese) and will be sold all over China and on Amazon.com as well!
I am soooo excited about this!
Now that I have share this little secret with you, we can move on with a new recipe!
Eggs in Bacon Hug! I made them for lunch last Sunday and I loved them!
Ingredients (serves 6):
- 6 slices of bacon (cut very thin)
- 5 whole big eggs
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 200 ml (1 cup) heavy cream
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- 3 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
In a bowl combine eggs, Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper and chopped parsley
pour in the heavy cream
beat all the ingredients together with a fork
Cover the bottom and the borders of a muffin cup with one slice of bacon. Repeat with the others
Then pour the eggs mixture into the bacon cups
Bake at 180 C (375 F) for about 15 min or until the egg is cooked and the top got a nice brown color. Remove them from the muffin cups and serve them warm!
I think these are a great idea as finger food during a party or as a started for a dinner with friends!
