I’ve been telling you that I’m super busy for quite some time now, but I haven’t told you what I have been busy with…well, a number of things.
1. work in the office has been insane as our Italian clients will be starting a second project with us soon
2. as you know I like, from time to time, organizing events to get away from the caos of the city. This time, with the help of Michele of Vivishanghai and Max of nihaoitaly, I’ve put together a day trip to Fengjing and Mao fisher village. It is going to be a great opportunity to spend an alternative day fishing and taking painting classes. I’ll tell you more in my next post with all details and price. For now just be aware that we will be holding this trip on Nov 13th and Dec 11th.
3. I’ve taken care of picnic in the park for H&M here in Shanghai. They contacted me and asked me to arrange for them a team building event at the BinJiang Park. I tailored made an excusite menu with soft drinks and fresh baked bread. It was fun!
4. Since I am also helping GGG promoting their delicious Californian wines, I’m going to organize a wine tasting class in January. Teacher will be Mr. Gaudette a graduate from Le Cordon Bleu in Paris. If you guys are interested in wines and want to know more about it, contact me and I’ll give you more details on this as well.
Two more activities are under construction and I’ll share them with you as soon as they are ready, but now let’s talk food!
I made this little, cute, chocolate bites a few weeks ago when I prepared my Oreo cupcakes and since I had some batter left I decided to try make something different with it and decorate it with M&M and podered sugar.
I think this is a great idea for a birthday party, your kids will love them!
- 1 cup + 2 tbsp flour
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/4 cup + 2 tbsp butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup buttermilk
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 cup M&M
- colorful sprinkles
- 2-3 tbsp powdered sugar
Cream sugar and butter together
add eggs, one at a time beating well after each addition
add vanilla extract
melt the chocolate chips and add them to the mixture
then add half of the flour and 1 tbsp of baking powder
mix on low speed, add half of the buttermilk
beat well, and the remaining flour and buttermilk
Slighly butter mini-muffin pans and devide the batter. Bake at 180C for about 8- 10 min. Remove from the oven and let them cool down.
Flip them upside down
then sprinkle with powder sugar
and then place one M&M right in the center
Serve to your kids party or to whatever other occasion you have 🙂
