Fa caldo! Afoso, appiccicoso, schifoso!
I’m sorry…I’m losing it…
It is sooo hot and humid here that my hair is all rebel and I’ve sweat rolling off my back and my forehead as I write.
I don’t like sweating, unless I’m working out, in which case it makes me feel like I’m burning more calories than normal….but I don’t like sweating while seated at my desk, after I showered and perfumed myself! That is annoying and not fun!
I’ve no idea how I am going survive other 3 months of this inferno! Shanghai’s summer is a torture! I think it’s the hardest time of the year for me to be here, away from my little, nice, sunbath-friendly town in Italy.
I miss home!
sniff*
As you know, I am not going to get myself close to the stove until temperature drops back to normal levels, so from now on only salads and raw food! Get used to it!
