Last Sunday I was home and bored I had already spent 2 hours pole dancing, I was exhausted so I decided to make cookies!
That’s how my brain works: got nothing to do? Go to the kitchen and experiment with something!
I wont talk much today…Why?
Because I’m writing from my office and I’ve a tun of work to do, not to mention 2 Italian clients who are looking over my head trying to understand why the hell I am writing about cookies while I should be working on the new software program we are developing….
I’ll stop here.
This is the recipe for making these tasty-easy-soft cookies! Take notes.
Ingredients (makes about 15 cookies):
- 2 cups flour
- 1 whole egg
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
In a bowl of your electric mixer combine butter and sugar
With your mixer on medium speed, cream the ingredients together
Next up we are going to switch to the paddle attachment and while the crack in 1 egg and the vanilla extract
Keep mixing until all the ingredients are well combined. Scrape the sides of the bowl
Now slowly add the flour
keep mixing until you get a soft and smooth batter. Scrap the sides of the bowl and keep mixing
With the batter, fill in a pastry bag and sqeeze it out in the shape of close circles…if that doesn’t make any sense to you, as it shouldn’t, pls look at the picture for reference…
Thanks!
Now put the cookies in the fridge for about 30 min, then bake’ em at 200 C for about 10 min
Let them cool down before serving
I find these cookies to be perfect served with tea but my bf liked them better with a cup of warm milk
Give this a try!
