I know, you’re mad at me…I know
I’m sorry I have disappeared for about a week but work has been crazy and at night when I got back home I was still so sick and weak from my cold that I had no energy to spend in the kitchen so I ended up ordered greasy Chinese food from the little restaurant downstairs my apartment…
I think I’ve gained a pound…..

OK, good! We can move on now!
Yesterday I was hanging out at home in my pijama and suddenly felt hungry, my fridge was empty so was my pantry but
BUT
I had some pizza dough leftovers so I decided to make myself I quick snack!
This can be a perfect idea for an afternoon snack, finger food for a party or a dinner starter!
All you need is simple stuff and this dish comes together in 20 minutes flat!
Ingredients (makes about 15 rolls):
- 1 Pizza crust
- 50 g salami Milan
- arugula
- 1/4 cup butter
Take the pizza dough out of the refrigerator and roll it out into a thin circle
(for pizza dough recipe, check out this post)
Using a 2-1/2 inch cookie cutter cut circle of dough
In a sauce pan melt some butter and dip in each roll circle
then fold the circle in half
Bake at 180 C for about 30 min
than while they are still warm, grab one, gently open it up
drag in one-two slices of salami
and some fresh arugula
then close it gently. Repeat with remaining rolls
Your Saturday afternoon snack is ready!
Make this rolls sometime soon! They are crunchy on the outside, but nice and soft on the inside! To die for!
I’ll come back with regular posts this week. I promise!
