Cooking with Mom: Chocolate Hazelnuts

This is not a Christmas recipe per say, but we use to make it during Christmas time, wrap them up in nice see through paper and give them out to relatives and friends.

These hazelnuts covered in chocolate are super easy to make but delicious. Simple food is always the best.

My mom and I made them yesterday afternoon and it really took us less than 30 minutes to get them all done!

This recipe is soo easy that I haven’t taken step-by step photos, but I am sure you will get a clear idea of how to make them anyways.

Here is the recipe!

Ingedients (for 20 servings):

  • 1 cup hazelnuts (250 g)
  • 1 cup extra dark chocolate (200 g)

First place the hazelnuts on a oven try (covered with oven paper) and slitely toast them till golden-brown. You can also buy pre-toasted hazelnuts and skip this part.

In a double soucepan melt the chocolate

Then dump in the hazelnuts and with a spoon cover them in chocolate.

Place 4-5 chocolate covered hazelnuts in small paper cups. Let the chocolate dry and serve, or store ,or wrap them up and give them out simple, cute, tasty presents

You can space things up and replace hazelnuts with almonds. To die for!!!
