Those of you who, like me, are cookies addicts are gonna love this recipe!
I am a member of Tasty Kitchen, an happy cooking community where women and men from all over the world share their most favorite recipes. A few months ago Multiplydelicious posted this outrageously tasty cookie recipe. I fell in love with it at first sight so I decided try it with some minor adjustments. The result was incredible! A crispy, oreo cheesecake flavor madness. All my friends who got to try these cookies gave’ em thumbs up!
Here is the step by step recipe!
Ingredients (for about 12 cookies):
- 1/4 cup Unsalted Butter, Softened
- 60 g Cream Cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 1/2 cup All-purpose Flour
- 1/4 cups Mini Chocolate Chips
- 1/2 cup Oreo Cookie Crumbs
- 1/4 cups Hershey’s Cookies’n’ creme bar (optional)
In a large bowl, cream together butter and cream cheese until they are well combined
Add the sugar and vanilla and mix until ingredients are well combined
Add the flour and keep mixing until incorporated
Stir in the mini chocolate chips – I actually didn’t have any, so I just chopped up a piece of dark chocolate I had at home
Take some oreos and crumble’ em up
Scoop the dough into balls (I used a tabs scoop to insure all measured the same)
roll in Oreo cookie crumbs so cookie is covered
Place cookie balls onto baking sheet. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the tops are slightly puffed at 180 C
Take half of a Hershey’s Cookies’n’ creme bar
Melt it in a double sauce pan
Once cookies are cool, drizzle cookies with melted white chocolate. Enjoy!
