Beef Stew with Potatoes

Mmmmm, can you smell it? This delicious rosemary aroma? It’s my beef stew with potatos dish. Isn’t it delicious?

After all these posts about sweets, cookies and dessert we really needed something salty one, didn’t we?

If you liked my Spezzatino recipe, you are going to love this one 😉

Ingredients (for 2 servings):

  • 300 g beef (cut into cubes)
  • 2 potatoes
  • rosemary
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • salt, pepper, flour
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 1/4 cup onion

Chop the onion and heat it up in your pressure cooker with some olive oil.

Meanwhile slightly flour the meat.

Add the meat and brown it to all sides.

Pour in the white wine and let evaporate.

Add salt, 1 cup of water, close the pressure cooker and let cook at low-medium heat for about 20 min.

Meantime wash and cut the potatoes into cubes. Wash some fresh rosemary.

Open the pressure cooker and add the potatoes, rosemary and some black pepper. Adjust with salt if necessary. Close the pressure cooker again and keep cooking for about 10 min.

When you open the pressure cooker, see if it is too watery, in that case, let the water evaporate by turning up the heat for a few minutes.

I didn’t have time, but if you guys do, grill it for a few min in your oven!
