Chocolate Pastry Cream

After the Lemon Pastry Cream, today I’ll show you how to make the chocolate flavor one. I made it to fill in my mom’s bday cake (which recipe I will post soon), but you can use it in a thousand different ways.


  • 120 g sugar –  120 克白糖
  • 2 egg yolk – 2个蛋黄
  • 2 tbsp flour – 2 汤匙面粉
  • 2 tbsp dark chocolate powder –  2汤匙可可粉
  • 500 ml milk – 500 升牛奶

Beat egg yolks and sugar  together. 把蛋黄和白糖搅打一起.

Add the chocolate powder and mix 加入可可粉混合

Add flour and mix until smooth. 加入面粉混合

Slowly pour in milk. 慢慢倒入牛奶

Bring it to a boil at low heat. Boil for 5 min, till it gets dense. 用小-中火煮5分钟

Lick the spoon (like my mom did)
