Pasta Salad

The Pasta Salad, or in Italian Insalata di Pasta, is a perfect summer dish as it is served cold with fresh vegetable and fish or meat (depends on how you like it).

It is a perfect picnic snack as it is light and fresh, a convenient lunch to bring with you to the office or a light dinner after a busy day in the office or a hard workout at the gym.

You can basically add anything you like: hard boiled eggs, cheese, any kind of vegetables, grilled hot dogs, tuna fish and so on.

Mine is generally pretty simple with just some tomatoes, corn, tuna fish, mozzarella cheese and olives but you guys fell free to add and personalized it as u prefer, at the end of the day cooking is like wearing a dress, each of us can wear the same dress with different attitudes and garnishing it with different accessories 🙂

Ingredients: 配料

  • 300 g pasta (any kind of short pasta) – 300 克意式面(短的)
  • 1 can of tuna – 一听金鱼
  • 400 g cherry tomatoes – 400克西红柿
  • 1/2 can of corn – 一听玉米
  • a few olives – 一些橄榄
  • basil – 罗勒
  • 100 g mozzarella cheese – 100克mozzarella酪
  • Olive oil and salt – 橄榄油和食用盐

Wash and cut in a half the cherry tomatoes. Put them in a bowl。首先把西红柿洗干净切半。放入碗

 

Add tune, corn, olives and basil leaves. Dress with salt and olive oil.碗中加入金鱼,玉米,橄榄和罗勒。

 

In the meantime boil pasta, drain it and dress it with some olive oil so it wont stick. Wait to cool down.同时把面煮熟,将水控干后倒入一些橄榄油以至不让面沾到一起。

 

Chop the mozzarella cheese. 把mozzarella酪切块。

 

Once the pasta has cooled down add it to the other ingredients. Add the mozzarella cheese and if necessary more olive oil. Put in the fridge for a couple of hours before serving. 冷之后把面加入碗。搅拌好。加mozzarella酪。如需要再加橄榄油。冷藏即可
