Mushroom cream Tagliatelle

The Mushroom cream tagliatelle is one of my favorite dish. Yesterday night I had a farewell dinner to see off my friend Carl who is moving to Hong Kong for 8 months and I served this plate which everyone seemed to like…hopefully…unless they were all faking of liking it…, no…they loved it…yeah, yeah… I think that’s it. That feels much better than the previous scenario 😉

Anyways, moving on, since dinner was at 7.30 pm on a Wednesday night and since I work in Pudong but live on the Puxi side of the city, I had to sneak out of the office at 5 pm, to be able to be home by 6 (hopefully my boss wont read this….:S).  After a 1 hour journey in the crowded train of Shanghai and a 15 min walk from the subway station to  my apartment, I finally started cooking to make everything ready and delicious, cause now that I have a cooking blog I feel like people expect me to serve the perfect dish every time they are over…..which is never the case…….when I cook for myself I always get the best results out of my cooking as opposed to when I have guests some kind of tragedy always happens in the kitchen….ironic, isn’t it?

Anyways, here is the recipe! Enjoy : )

Ingredients (for 8 servings): 配料(约8人份量):

  • 500 g tagliatelle -500克意大利宽面条
  • 600 g mushrooms -600克蘑菇
  • 30 g dry mushrooms -30克蘑菇干
  • 500 ml heavy cream -500升奶黄
  • 2 cloves garlic – 2 瓣蒜
  • 4 tbsp olive oil – 4汤匙橄榄油
  • 1/4 Parmesan cheese – 20克磨碎帕尔马干酪

Wash and cut the mushrooms. 把白蘑菇洗干净切 片。

Soak the dry mushrooms in a bowl of hot water until they get soft 泡蘑菇至变软

In a pan heat oil and garlic 在煎锅中放入橄榄油和蒜加热

Add the mushrooms, cover with a lid and let simmer for about 10- 15 min. Then add the dry mushrooms. 加入蘑菇, 把锅盖子盖上并,炖约10-15 分钟然后加入干蘑菇。

When the mushrooms are cooked, add the heavy cream, salt and some black pepper. Simmer for 10 min. 蘑菇熟后,倒入奶黄, 盐和黑辣椒粉。再炖10分钟。

In the meantime boil pasta. 同时煮熟意大利宽面条

Drain it and dress it with the mushroom cream. Sprinkle on top some Parmesan cheese. 将水控干后将面和蘑菇酱混合一起。最后把磨碎帕尔马干酪滴在上面。
