Green Peas Pasta Pie

This recipe came out just like that. Last Sunday night after a weekend spent outdoors with a picnic on Saturday and a delicious brunch at Boxing Cat with lots of beer and tasty food, I found myself in the kitchen with almost nothing left in the fridge. All I had was less than a half package of frozen green peas, some slices of Italian ham, half of a mozzarella, butter, milk and of course pasta (which is never missed at my place :). Using the butter, milk and some flour I’ve made the Bechamel Sauce that I have used to dress the pasta together with peas and ham. This is what I have got!

Ingredients (for 4 servings): 原料(4人份量):

  • 250 ml bechamel sauce – 250 升白酱
  • 2-3 slices of ham – 2-3 片火腿
  • 200 g rigatoni – 意大利通心粉
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan – 45  克磨碎帕尔马干酪
  • 200 g Green Peas –  200克青豆
  • 40 g butter – 40 克黄油
  • 50 g mozzarella cheese – 50 克mozzarella 酪

First thing first, boil for about 10 min the frozen green peas. 首先把青豆煮约10分钟

Add about 20 g of butter. 加入20克黄油

Boil the rigatoni pasta.  意大利通心粉煮熟

Mix the rigatoni pasta with 20 g of butter, the green peas, some Parmesan cheese and some of the bechamel sauce. 将意大利通心粉,20克黄油,一些磨碎帕尔马干酪, 青豆和一些白酱混合一起。

In an over tray drop 2-3 tbsp of bechamel sauce. Lay enough pasta to cover the bottom of the tray. 一正方烤盤中底先加一點bechamel酱。 然后把意大利通心粉排好在盘中(一层就好)

Sprinkle some Parmesan cheese, mozzarella, ham and more bechamel sauce。面上放帕尔马干酪,mozzarella 酪,火腿和白酱。

Cover with the remaining pasta and on top cover with more bechamel sauce and parmesan cheese. 再排一层通心粉。最后把帕尔马干酪和bechamel 酱洒最上面。

Bake in preheat oven at 200 C for about 15-20 min. 放入预热的烤箱以约200度烤15-20分钟
