Olive stuffed bread

This kind of bread is typical from my little town, Lecce, in the South of Italy. It is called puccetta con le olive. It is a very tasty bread that goes well with some cheese, salami and a good glass of wine.

Ingredients (6 small puccette): 材料 (6个小面包):

  • 1 cup bread flour (128 g) – 1 杯面包面粉
  • 10 g instant yeast  – 10 克速效酵母
  • 1/2 cup of warm water (125 ml)  – 1/2 杯温水
  • 3 tbsp black olives – 3 匙 黑橄榄
  • salt  – 食用盐
  • 1 tbsp olive oil – 1 匙 橄榄油

Dissolve the yeast in the 1/2cup of water and mix it with all the ingredients in a bowl.  将酵母溶解在1/2杯的水中,并将所有的原材料混合在一个碗中。

Kneat the dough till it is smooth and soft. 将面团搓揉均匀至光滑、柔软有弹性。

Add the black olive and mix well. 加入橄榄和均匀搅打好。

Divide the dough into 6 small pieces. Let rest for about 30 min. Sprinkle on top some flour. 把面团分成6团. 静置松驰约30分钟待用。把面粉均匀撒在面包上。

Place into preheat oven at about 220 C for 30 min. 放入预热的烤箱以约200度烤30分钟。

  • Calories: 105  (from fat 27)
  • Fat: 3 g
  • Carbohydrates: 16.8 g
  • Protein: 2.8 g
