Raisin Honey Oatmeal

Today is Sunday so here we go with an other weekend breakfast: The raisin honey oatmeal! πŸ˜€

Oatmeal is a very healthy food. It is very low in saturated fat and very low in cholesterol and sodium. If you are trying to lose weight or keep yourself in shape, this is a perfect idea for a tasty breakfast.

Ingredients (for 3 servings)

  • 1 1/2 cup oats
  • 2 cups milk
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp raisins.
  • salt (a pinch)

Bring milk and salt to a boil


Stir in oats and let is simmer for about 5-8 min, stirring occasionally.


Remove from heat, add raisins, cover with a lid and let stay for about 5 min (until raisins are soft).


Place in a bowl and pour honey on top.

  • Fat: 5.9 g
  • Carbohydrates: 55g
  • Protein: 10.9 g
