At least on the weekend I allow myself a decent breakfast which is not just a quick cup of coffee and a couple of cookies. This morning I made French Toast. Here is the recipe!
Ingredients (for 1 serving):
- 3 slices of white bread
- 2 eggs
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla estract
- 1/2 glass of milk
- Syrup
- powdered sugar
First thing, cut the edges off the bread slices
In a bowl place eggs, sugar, vanilla extract and milk.
Mix it up with a fork for a few min.
Spray a pan with some Pam oil. Turn on medium heat.
Soak the slices of bread in the eggs mixture (one slice at a time)
Fry each slice from one side
Then on the other side
Place the toasts on a plate, sprinkle with powdered sugar and dress with syrup.
Personally I love French Toast. They are not an Italian typical recipe but living out here, dating an American and traveling a lot have teached me how to appreciate different dishes.
